High Desert Dance Classic - Ballroom, West Coast Swing, Salsa, Latin, Lindy Dancing

Dancing Feet is a youth ballroom dance program designed to teach 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students ballroom/latin dances at their local school. This program has provided young students an opportunity to be exposed to ballroom/latin dance as well as etiquette required for the sport. This ten-week program is taught by school site teachers where they provide dance instruction to students covering 5 ballroom/latin dances. In addition to ballroom dance, this year, the 7th graders have added the West Coast Swing to their repertoire and are enjoying it immensely.

The culmination of the ten-week program is held at the High Desert Dance Classic competition where the semi-finals and the finals will be held. One team will win the first place trophy. You won’t want to miss this exciting segment of the competition weekend. Please come and support the students.
